The Cleveland Cavaliers finally got their groove back with a solid win against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. This game was unique as Kyrie Irving was more aggressive on the assists end and LeBron with scoring. LeBron James scored 27 points with 12 assists and Kyrie Irving had 14 points and a career-high 14 assists (the most ever by a teammate of LeBron James). 

The Cavaliers are the 1st team in the last 10 seasons to have multiple players with 12+ assists in multiple games:

  • Cleveland Cavaliers: Kyrie Irving 14 and LeBron James 12 (2017)
  • Golden State Warriors: Draymond Green 13 and Stephen Curry 12 (2015)
  • Denver Nuggets: Andre Iguodala 14 and Andre Miller 12 (2013)
